Refusing to Submit Drunk Driving

Columbus Implied Consent Laws

According to Ohio Revised Code Section 4511.192, when an Ohio resident applies to receive a Ohio driver's license they are consenting to submitting blood, urine, and/or breath tests if a law enforcement officer suspects that they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol when operating their vehicle. If an individual decides to refuse to submit a blood, breath, or breath test, their license will be immediately suspended.
