Attorney Profile

Mr. Hoffman has been a licensed attorney since October 1984.  He is licensed to practice in all Ohio courts of law, including Federal Court in the Southern District of Ohio, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Mr. Hoffman graduated from the Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio in May of 1984 and from the Ohio State University in 1981 with a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Mr. Hoffman was a prosecuting attorney with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Anthony J. Celebreeze, Jr.

His experience included prosecuting patient abuse and neglect cases and prosecuting  Medicaid Fraud committed in Ohio. He was also responsible for presentation of evidence to special grand jury and trial of complex economic crimes involving health care fraud. 

Prior to that Mr. Hoffman was employed by the Columbus City Prosecutors offices. 

Mr. Hoffman is a member of the Franklin County Trial Lawyers, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Columbus Bar Association.  He is on the criminal law, domestic law and juvenile law committees of the Bar Association

In 2004, Mr. Hoffman was chose by Business First Magazine as the one of the "Top Lawyers" in Columbus, Ohio. 

Mr. Hoffman has extensive jury and non-jury trial experience.  His office is well equipped to handle the most difficult of cases in either the areas of criminal defense, domestic relations and personal injury.
